In this 19th-century American gothic, Rosalind (Pamela Payton-Wright) loses her beau to her younger sister (Susan Sarandon). She summons the spirit of his dead wife, only to learn that vengeful spirits are not so easily controlled. Virtually unseen since its 1973 TV airing, this live teleplay based on a Henry James story is shot like a daytime drama and directed by Lela Swift ("Dark Shadows").
